Your Bio

Dad was a professional photographer so I grew up around cameras, dark room equipment and smelly chemicals. I guess it's safe to say, photography has been in my blood a long time. Dad mostly shot with Leica's but I have fond memories of his Speed Graphics (he had two of them as I recall) and a couple 2 1/4 format cameras. I must have been 10 or 11 when I got my first camera, a used Argus C3. But in spite of the early start, my interest in photography remained at a low ebb until much later in life when I bought my first digital, an Olympus C2100UZ. The instant feedback of the digital format blew me away and I was hooked. These days, I shoot with Nikon's D200 and my hobby has grown into an obsession. I consider myself as still in the learning mode (I probably always will) but I'm having more fun with it than a grown man has a right to. So welcome to my photo gallery! I set it up to share some of my humble pictures with friends, family and the occasional web surfer. This is definitely not a commercial site - nothing's for sale here. If you see something you'd like to borrrow for personal use, you have my permission to download it. On the other hand, if you have a commercial use in mind, please email me. All rights reserved.
