Dad was a professional photographer so I grew up around cameras, dark room equipment and smelly chemicals. So I guess it's safe to say photography has been in my blood a long time. I must have been 10 or 11 when I got my first camera, a used Argus C3, a 35mm rangefinder camera known as "the Brick" because of its shape and size. But in spite of the early start, my interest in photography stayed fairly low until much later in life when I bought my first digital, an Olympus C2100UZ. The instant feedback of the digital format blew me away and I was hooked. These days, I shoot with a Nikon D200 and more recently, a Panasonic LX3 that's easier to carry on trails. I consider myself as still in the learning mode and I probably always will. So welcome to my photo gallery! I set it up to share some of my humble pictures with friends, family and the occasional web surfer. This is not a commercial site - nothing's for sale here.
